Bluebonnets!
It’s spring! And spring in Texas means bluebonnet pictures!!
bluebonnets 2012
Well, you know spring is here when you see this on the side of the road:
Families everywhere gather together for the Texas tradition! 🙂 |
I took my three (plus my nephew!) out to the local bluebonnet field to take our annual pictures. I have some of my other favorites on my photography blog.
this picture captures Asher’s personality well |
how much longer will they be stair stepped? |
these two have a special bond |
sisters |
Caden with his cousins |
best buds with a lot more matching outfits in their future… |
who doesn’t love running through fields at full speed? |
showing off their muscles! |
I think these two really look alike! |
And this last picture melts my heart. While I was taking pictures of Caden, I caught Ella taking pictures of Rilyn with her cell phone (my old cell phone that doesn’t call out). So sweet-I love how Rilyn is posing too!
bluebonnets!
It’s that time of year again for Texans! Please check out my photography blog for my favorite pictures from today. Posted below are some ones that didn’t make my photography blog but are still cute!!

spring in texas
Here’s our second attempt at pictures in the bluebonnets. Asher decided to eat the flowers this time.

bluebonnets round 1
Now obviously you can tell why this is ’round 1′ of my annual bluebonnet pictures. So, there will be more pictures to come with sisters! Really, this morning was just a ‘scouting trip’ to see if I could find any bluebonnets nearby. Much to Asher’s dismay, we did, and even though it was only 55 degrees outside, (he should know now that mommy will do whatever it takes to get ‘the shot’), I parked him in the middle of the flowers to ‘chill’ (literally) while I snapped pictures furiously.

Family Resemblance?
In case you were unsure of who Rilyn looks like….
I call this their ‘squinty face because the sun is in my eyes’ look.

It’s that time of the year again…(for Texas anyway!)
