Sesame Street Live

We took the girls last night to Sesame Street Live for their Valentines treat.  They loved it, especially Ella.  I loved watching their faces light up at the music and characters.  Here are some pics.

I promise she wanted to go to the show, but was not excited about taking pictures beforehand!

Who Knew?

That we had a fun farm hideaway in Manor, Texas! We went to Crowe’s Nest Farm and the girls had a blast (daddy watched Asher at home). Here they are going into the “Fairy Garden.” The farm has all sorts of farm animals and we watched a cow get milked (much like mommy does these days…) Here is the site if you are ever interested. http://www.crowesnestfarm.org

Here are some cute pics of this past week-

Asher is now 7 weeks old.

Carny Time

James took Rilyn to the carnival (part of Rodeo Austin) Monday night along with our good friends Jeff and his son, Cole Richardson. Cole was pretty interested in watching the people work the food booths at the fair. James asked Cole quietly, “Do you want to be a carnie?” but Rilyn heard and loudly announced, “I want to be a carnie!!” Hmm, not the future I quite had in mind for her…

“Cole, follow me!” (story of his life when he is with Rilyn)

Childhood Wonder

So James and Jeff posed Cole to do this b/c they thought it would be funny. (James won’t think this is funny too much longer!!!!)

Rodeo Austin!

I took the girls to the rodeo today (just the petting zoo part.) I think the highlight was throwing the hay around. If I would of known that, I would of just taken the girls to the side of Parmer Lane and let them go to town with the hay bales. Rilyn was freaked out at the petting zoo which I probably should of guessed since she is scared of dogs at people’s houses. My highlight was having the best funnel cake EVER!!! It was worth the $6 it cost(don’t ya love rodeo food prices?)!

Ready, Set, Play!

So we went to this neat inflatable fun land today in Round Rock.  I highly recommend it.  Ella is a little daredevil as she goes on the big slide all by herself!

Sea World

Yesterday, my parents took our family to Sea World San Antonio.  We could of done without the crowds and the heat, but the girls did really well (especially considering no naps!)  They were awed at the beauty and size of Shamu and the acrobatics of the dolphins.  Rilyn went on her first rollar coaster and we discovered she has no fear as she put her arms up on all the rides!  It was a great day with family!  Thanks mom and dad.  Check out more of our photos on our August photo link.
