3 months!

Asher is 3 months old today! What a blessing he is to our family.

Rilyn is a sweet sister and is becoming a little mommy to him!

(he is half her size!)

reading time!

Rilyn and I had our first ‘girls night’ last night b/c she is needing some individual time. Something about the age of four, it is all about ‘me first’ and Asher is taking up too much of my time as far as she is concerned! So, we went to the Ceramic Lodge in Round Rock and painted plates! I can’t wait to pick them up next week to see the final product. She had a great time doing what she does best-art! (she drew herself on the plate-what a precious keepsake!)

8 weeks old

Asher is already 8 weeks old!!  The biggest comment I get is that “he looks like a man!”  😉  He loves his play gym and hates his car seat.   Here he is (and his double chin)!

Rilyn had her dance recital this past weekend.  They danced to the song “Do You Love Me?” from Dirty Dancing.  They were so cute and their performance got the most laughs due to Rilyn kissing the only boy in her show.  (Don’t worry she was supposed to!)

Party Hardy

Rilyn’s birthday party was last Saturday at Capital Gymnastics. She had a blast!

Bouncing on the trampoline!

Saucer sliding!

pretending like she is shy when her friends are singing happy birthday to her

the new Barbie jeep Grandpa and Grandma got her!

Round 1

And in this corner we have Stylin Rilyn Paquette ready for a fight at the mere age of 9 days old…

And in this corner we have Asher the Basher Paquette ready to fight at the mere age of 4 days old…

Let the fists fly!  Round 1 begin!

Joking aside, as you can see, Mr. Asher looks a lot like Rilyn and shares many of the same expressions.  I can picture a mini-James running around now!

An Easter Song

Rilyn lately likes to make up her own songs. Today, Easter Sunday, she did not disappoint and decided to compose a ballad of the true meaning of Easter for us. Her video is priceless (her lyrics a bit random), but if you will watch till the end, Ella will manage to get a little attention too!

New Easter pics are uploaded also on our March photo link. 🙂

Lyrics:

Jesus died on the cross

For the dead of God

He is the rose of the dead

That’s right!

He rose up from dead

Now we go to church on Sundays and Thursdays

That’s why we are churches

We have church in heaven all way down

Jesus loves us because we are heaven

We are going to go in heaven

Someday we will go in heaven

We will want Him too

And someday we will see Jesus in our heart

Completely

May Jesus loves us and you mommy and

That’s-why-Jesus-loves-us-too!!!!!

Hmm. Hmm.

New Haircut!

Rilyn has been asking to have her haircut short “like mommy’s” so I thought with the warm weather coming, it was time to chop!  (Her last haircut was in June!)  Here are the results!  🙂

Rilyn’s First Dance Recital

While she is quite the entertainer at home, it seems a large audience has a mesmerizing effect on Rilyn. All in all she entertained the crowd and got a few dance steps and kisses in to boot.

October Update!

Okay so a lot has been happening in the past couple of weeks!  Let me catch you up!  First, let me be ‘official’ and now announce my third pregnancy on our website.  We are thrilled and are due April 27th.  We find out the sex of our baby Dec. 5th!

Second, James turned 29 October 2nd.  He got his ipod he has been wanting forever and so I think it was a good day!

Third, Rilyn fell down the driveway skipping and got her first big ‘bonk’ on her forehead.  As you can see it left a big bruise!  Our poor baby!

Fourth, we went to the Elgin Christmas Tree Farm where they sell pumpkins in the fall.  It was only 95 degrees that day, so we weren’t sweating or anything!  😉
