Well, here in Shadowglen(our neighborhood) we’ve got quite a thing going…namely reproducing. Here is the newest class making their official debut…Halle Peck(10 1/2 months), Malachi Suh (9 1/2 months), Asher Paquette(3 months), Gavin Collins(2 weeks), and Caden Richardson(1 week).

The high school class of 2026
glow
3 months!
Asher is 3 months old today! What a blessing he is to our family.
Rilyn is a sweet sister and is becoming a little mommy to him!
(he is half her size!)
Rilyn and I had our first ‘girls night’ last night b/c she is needing some individual time. Something about the age of four, it is all about ‘me first’ and Asher is taking up too much of my time as far as she is concerned! So, we went to the Ceramic Lodge in Round Rock and painted plates! I can’t wait to pick them up next week to see the final product. She had a great time doing what she does best-art! (she drew herself on the plate-what a precious keepsake!)
Time for a new blog
Okay, so I enjoy reading people’s blogs and get somewhat frustrated when they haven’t updated in awhile so I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out what to blog about since it’s been a week since my last post…it’s been slow in the Paquette household these days-(which is a GOOD thing and I’m not complaining!)
Anyways! I was looking through my old yearbooks and came across my 6th grade one from 1991. In my yearbook we had a ‘Most Likely to Be:’ section and in my class of 46 kids, I was voted
Most likely to:
be President of the USA
be a Nobel Prize winner
live to be 100
be an inventor
Hmmm…not quite sure what that says about me but I think the overall theme is that I was a dork. 😉 Now I will humble myself and share my 6th grade picture with you. (Yes, that is a home perm).
The Ultimate Threat
Happy July 4th!!
Highlights from our holiday include:
Asher’s first July 4th!
Winning most ‘patriotic family’ at the neighborhood parade! Rilyn won ‘craziest hat’ award too which was a gift card to Target. When she went up to get it she shouted, “Yes! I got a credit card like mommy!”
Being silly siblings
grilling out with the Suh’s, and last but certainly not least…the kids first time watching fireworks!!!
middle
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about now having a ‘middle’ child. I don’t want Ella to get stuck and be the ‘lost’ child who doesn’t necessarily get all the high fives for doing new things b/c Rilyn already has accomplished them and then doesn’t get the attention the baby of the family usually gets. Ella is our cuddle bug, our funny girl, our loud laugher, and our sobber who can’t catch her breath b/c she is crying so hard and passes out for a second. She longs to be like Rilyn (copies what she says all of the time) yet she is definitely her own self who wants to let you know she is in the room!!
So, I’m intentionally going to start taking Ella out on a mommy and me day to do something with just her (okay, okay, so I got the idea from Jon & Kate plus 8) So, here is some of my favorite pics of Ella this month.
