As I was glancing around my closet today, I happened to look upon something I hadn’t seen in awhile…some might ask why I still have it…I wonder that myself.

Here is the lid to my collection of erasers from when I was in elementary school and junior high. You can see I’m quite the artist with nail polish!
So what do you find when you open it up…

BAM! You better believe I was proud of myself for this collection of 245 erasers!!! How, do you ask, do I know how many erasers I have? Well, of course I found an inventory I did on them all-DUH! (Friends who know me shouldn’t be surprised.) I even put them in catergories like “hearts” and “Christmas” and “places”

What makes me laugh is that I was so OCD that I even did inventory on the tiny erasers that you buy in bulk for a dollar.

People, I even have a toilet eraser. Geesh.
And you were trying to think of “quirks” to post in response to my “tag”…thanks for the laugh.
nope, not surprised one bit. a little freaked out, but not surprised. here’s a question, when you and james got married and moved in together, was this one of your must have’s? i remember going through scott’s stuff and nixing a lot of it, but i am guessing james did not do that to you. i mean, i can’t believe it is in your closet. i understand a basement or attic, but your closet! you are too funny! has rilyn started some collection that we should assume will be in a big box in her closet in about 20 years?
How did you slip all this ocd stuff by us in college? Did we take you out of it for a while or were you secretly conducting all these compulsive tendencies when we weren’t looking?
You can’t even imagine how hard I laughed when I read your blog about your erasers- we were some crazy collectors back then! It’s sad to say this but every time I see cool eraser, I have thought of buying it for you- just for old times sake. . . remember me with my keychains? Oh those were the days!
Julie!!! I have a box of erasers from elementary school too!! I just found it the other day. And it still has the butterfly wrapping paper on it! I remember wrapping it in 5th grade…too funny!
